Exciting news: LITTLE EDEN Society is calling on all cyclists to Pedal for a purpose, pedal for nurturing abilities and ‘Ride For a Purpose’ in the 947 Ride Joburg on 26 October 2025. By Riding for LITTLE EDEN you support us in Nurturing the abilities and enable each unique journey of the 300 children or adults with profound intellectual disability who call LITTLE EDEN home.

Why become a LITTLE EDEN Rider?
By being part of our LITTLE EDEN Riding team you give our residents the nurturing they need daily. As a LITTLE EDEN Rider each rotation of the peddle brings Hope in embracing each unique journey at LITTLE EDEN. This makes the care possible.
As a LITTLE EDEN Rider, you become part of a team of riders who are part of the extended family to our 300 residents of which 64% have been previously abandoned.

Supercharge your pedalling by increasing your fundraising efforts.
Head on over to GivenGain, set up your fundraising profile and link it to LITTLE EDEN 947 Riders. Supercharge by sharing why you’re a LITTLE EDEN 947 rider with family, friends, and business colleagues so they can sponsor your ride and make every push of the pedal worth more!
Our pedalling target will assist in raising funds to cover the monthly care fees not subsidised by the Department of Health. We ask each rider to approach 80 individuals to donate R100 each, raising R8000 or more. If we have 50 riders all doing the same, we can raise R400,000 to cover 24 angels’ monthly care fees for one month.
In turn, the more riders that are pedalling for purpose and raising funds for our angels, the more angels’ monthly fees we can ensure are covered. We have several angels looking forward to your pedalling efforts for LITTLE EDEN through a personal QR code we will provide before 15 September 2025.
