Basic tasks become a huge effort for Wheelchair Campaign participant, Stefan Tolmay

Stefan Tolmay of New Generation Rigging recently took part in our Wheelchair Campaign, where participants spend a work day in a wheelchair. This is what he had to say about his experience …

“Thank you for the opportunity to participate and to be part of the wheelchair campaign.

“Only after participating in the campaign, did I realise how privileged I am to have basic functionality. We should never take walking for granted. To spend each day in a wheelchair takes both physical strength and mental strength.

“Basic tasks required huge effort and the frustration of not being able to work at the pace I am used to gave me an idea of what an individual in a wheelchair goes through every single day.

“New Generation Rigging is proud to be part of the Little Eden Society and will participate in the campaign on a yearly basis, thank you.
