Charity Shop gets a revamp

Another valuable source of income for the Organisation is our Charity Shop, which now generates about 6% of our total income! Thank you so much to everyone who donates new and second hand clothing, toys, books and furniture to us.

Items that cannot be used within our Homes are sold through the Shop, which now has two distinct customer groups: people shopping for personal use, and small business operators buying for resale in their communities.

As a result of the increase in interest from these customers, we’ve had to extend the premises to encompass two shops, side by side. Please keep the donations coming – call our Reception on 011 609 7246 for collection of large loads, or drop items off at the offices at 79 Wagenaar Road in Edenglen. Thank you!
