Phase II of building renovations underway

We can’t wait to welcome visitors back to our Domitilla and Danny Hyams Home in Edenvale. You will be amazed at the transformation that has taken place in Red, Blue, Green and Lilac wings, which have been renamed.

Gone are the dark floors and dim corners … replaced by smooth, lightcoloured, seamless flooring, larger windows and cheerful curtains.

The bathrooms have also been completely redone, with fresh tiles and sanitaryware, and Showerßaths installed in each. These revolutionary shallow, upraised baths make it so much easier to bath adults and children with disabilities.

Still to come during this second phase of renovations at the Home is a frail care/medical wing and a new central nursing, medical and reception area.

We are so grateful to our generous funders who are making it possible for us to upgrade our facilities to more effectively meet the needs of our precious angels, while creating a comfortable envionment for staff.
